The CN Tower Effect. What is it? Raise your standards in 2024

--

Picture this: Toronto’s majestic CN Tower standing tall, a symbol of aspiration and growth. As a service-based entrepreneur grappling with scarcity, my journey from the bottom to the top found an unexpected parallel in the elevator of this architectural marvel.

Not long ago, at 21, I was navigating the tumultuous waters of entrepreneurship, offering a valuable service but pricing it modestly. The fear of charging more was deeply rooted in a scarcity mentality, a struggle familiar to many startup entrepreneurs.

Then came a game-changing moment. A prospect boldly declared a $15,000 budget for my service. The shock was palpable, but I accepted the challenge with composure. As I delivered the service and processed the $15,000 check, a familiar epiphany hit me — $15,000 wasn’t as much money as I had once believed. It was a lesson in wealth perception, a reminder that my expectations and standards needed a serious upgrade.

This encounter sparked a transformative decision — no more settling for less. I declared that my services were worth a minimum of $20,000, backed by strategic enhancements. It marked a shift from survival mode to abundance, a change in mindset that unlocked the true value of my services.

The journey continued, reaching new heights when a client engagement propelled my monthly earnings to $60,000. Yet, this financial milestone brought another epiphany — $60,000 wasn’t much money either. The revelation prompted a profound reflection on beliefs, confidence, and awareness about wealth. It was a journey from scarcity to abundance, extending beyond monetary gains, raising my vibrations, expectations, and standards.

The CN Tower, an ever-present symbol in my city, became a powerful metaphor. I recalled ascending in its elevator, nervous and worried. Yet, as the elevator rose, the surrounding buildings shrank, becoming insignificant. It mirrored the transformative journey of entrepreneurship — problems that once seemed insurmountable became inconsequential as I elevated my perspective.

This correlation between mindset and business became clearer. Charging $7,000 for a logo, which once seemed outlandish, now felt right. The key lay in convincing myself first. A morning ritual, accompanied by the invigorating song “Money Is Coming to Me,” played a crucial role in raising my vibrational level, setting the tone for a day filled with prosperity and confidence.

Implementing change became as simple as adding a zero to my pricing. The story of a public speaker added another layer. Initially charging $3,000 per gig, her mentor suggested a simple tweak — add a zero to the front, making it $30,000. The shift in perceived value worked wonders. Requests for speaking gigs flooded in, showcasing the power of shifting not only prices but also standards.

In essence, the CN Tower Effect is about more than just raising prices; it’s about elevating standards, beliefs, and the overall entrepreneurial experience. As you embrace inspiration, adopt a wealth-oriented vibration, and elevate both your prices and standards, witness the transformative impact on your business and life. Step into the vibrant landscape of 2024 with a newfound perspective, transcending from scarcity to abundance.
